The amount of data that may be downloaded or tranferred from your website to visitors' browsers each month. The transfer of data is usually measured in megabytes (MB) or gigabytes (GB), depending on the volume. For example: If all the data -- XHTML code, text, photos, buttons, etc. -- that make up your homepage totals 20KB (kilobytes) and a hundred visitors view your homepage in a certain month, the total data transfer for that month would be 2MB (20KB multiplied by 100).
